Is is it possible to complete the national dex on pokemon platinum?
I have pokemon platinum and want to complete the national dex without action replay or any other cheats. Is it possible and where are good places to find rare pokemon?
well, since you are a virtuous one, i will tell the truth. you can’t. you need every game since sapphire, excluding side games, at least two versions which may be pearl diamond and/or platinum and two nds.
you’ll need time and patience. if you live in america you may be able to complete it, if you have completed every pokedex in the previous games.
there are 11 pokemon that cannot be caught in the game without an event, or chetaing. those are : mew, lugia, ho-oh, celebi, deoxys, jirachi, manaphy, phione, darkrai, shaymin and arceus. every other pokemon except these can be caught in platinum, traded over or sent into.
i did this thing. it took me about 200 hours, but i had every thing i need. i still don’t have though, the 11 legendaries.
